Weisse Shirts

Meine Zaubermaus wollte ein weisses Shirt für unter die neue Wolltunika. "Aber gell Mami nur weiss, weil sonst sieht man was vorblitzen, und das wäre nicht schön!" O.k, o.k. mach ich doch gerne, wenn sie es sich schon wünscht. So habe ich mich schnell hingesetzt und eine weisse Antonia genäht. Das geht eine Stunde, denn den Schnitt habe ich für uns schon abgewandelt, so dass er sitzt.

My magic mouse wanted a white shirt for under the new tunic. "But mom only white, without embellishment, because it isn't nice when you can see the embellishment under the tunic!" O.k, o.k. can do if it't her wish. So I quickly sewed a white Antonia. This is a one hour project, because I had modifed the pattern for us already.

Stolz zeigte ich meiner Zaubermaus das Shirt als sie nach Hause kam. Sie: "Das ist aber langweilig" "DU, wolltest ein weisses Shirt ohne nichts" "Stimmt, aber so gefällt es mir nicht, mach was drauf" "Häää, wie bitte?"

I proudly showed my magic mouse the shirt when she came home. She: "This shirt is boring", "YOU, wanted a white shirt without anything" "Right, but I don't like it - make some embellishment on it" "Pardon me?!"

Da ich mir schon so was gedacht hatte, schnitt ich noch eine Hortensia zu, aber ohne Blütenblätter - dafür verlängert. Das Shirt gefiel ihr sofort und wurde auch ins Herz geschlossen. Das kann sie sogar unter die Wolltunika anziehen, ohne dass etwas zu sehen ist.

Since I had been something something like that, I cut a second Hortensia, but without petals - but extended instead. She liked this shirt and took it to her heart immediately. She can even put it under the tunic without anything to be seen.

Heute habe ich mir dann überlegt was ich mit dem weissen Shirt anstellen kann. Da meine Zaubermaus nach Papis Geburtstag auch unbedingt ein Knuddeltigershirt haben wollte, dachte ich mir, dass ich die Gelegenheit ergreifen sollte.

Today I was thinking about what can I do with the white shirt. Since Daddy's birthday she wanted to have a cuddly tiger shirt too, I thought that I should take the opportunity.

Und ich bin so froh, dass ihr das Shirt nun richtig gut gefällt!
