Gertrude - die super Shoppingtasche / the great shopping bag

Für die liebe Barbara durfte ich ihr neues Ebook, für diese wunderschöne Tasche zur Probe nähen. Und schon kurze Zeit später bin ich hin und weg von der Tasche. Sie ist super schnell genäht und macht wirklich etwas her. Ab sofort werde ich mit Freude einkaufen gehen.

For my friend Barbara I tested her new Ebook "Gertrude" for this great shopping bag. And I'm falling in love - this bag is so great. The ebook is very easy to sew and the bag looks great. From today on I like to go shopping.

Als ich die grossen Masse sah, was diese Tasche auszeichnet, musste ich gleich mal den Jumbohoop hervor holen. Und weil es immer noch Winter ist und ich mich lieber in etwas warmes ein kuschle, habe ich einen Fellstoff verwendet. Das Motiv ist auf der Bernina 830 bereits vorinstalliert.

When I saw the tall masses, I fetch my new jumbo hoop from Bernina. At the moment I like to cuddle with warm things, because the winter just won't go, so I used a skin fabric. The motive is one of the built-ins on the Bernina 830.

Für die Innentasche habe ich tief dunkelrotes Leinen verwendet. Und damit mein iPhone nicht in der grossen Tasche verloren geht hat es ein eigenes Fach gekriegt.

For the inner bag I used a very dark-red linen. For my iPhone I made a small pocket, so that I don't have to search it in the big bag.

Und weil ich immer noch so hin und weg bin, von der Tasche, folgt auch schon die nächste. Ich weiss auch schon wer sie kriegt.. mehr sobald sie fertig ist.

And because I'm still in love with this shopping bag, I made a next one for... oh no, I don't bespeak it now... more as soon as the bag is finished.
